IHRC Corporation Strengthens Humanitarian Coordination in Syria with Strategic Regional Meeting

An expanded meeting of the International Human Rights Commission IHRC Corporation office in Syria was held on Wednesday, April 22, at the Emata Hotel in Hama Governorate. The session was chaired by Commissioner Yahya Al-Amouri and attended by commission members, with the objective of strengthening institutional structures and enhancing coordination mechanisms across operational areas.

The meeting focused on several key priorities, including the structured distribution of responsibilities among members, refinement of organizational workflows, and the development of a preliminary operational plan. This plan encompasses organizational management, field activities, and public awareness initiatives. Particular emphasis was placed on building strategic partnerships and expanding cooperation with relevant local and international stakeholders.

Participants also outlined core priorities for the upcoming phase of activities. These include systematic documentation of human rights cases, implementation of youth-focused awareness programs, support for rehabilitation initiatives, empowerment of women in community engagement, and the development of adaptive media communication strategies aligned with current humanitarian needs.

In closing remarks, Commissioner Yahya Al-Amouri underscored the importance of maintaining the highest professional standards, reinforcing teamwork, and delivering measurable impact on the ground.
