IHRC Angola: Christmas on the Train

On December 16, 2022, the Regional Volunteers Coordination of the International Human Rights Commission in Angola held Christmas on the Train. An activity that brought together 78 children from Colégio Quinta da Graça on the train belonging to the Luanda railway, in which while the children were riding the train, members of the IHRC and the Associação Mulher e Criança shared knowledge about children's rights, the 11 commitments with the child as well as about the responsibility of looking after and protecting public goods and in the railway repair workshops, the children were able to learn more about the railways and trains and, in the end, school material was offered to the children present. The activity had the collaboration and support of the railways of Luanda, the association Mulher e Criança and the National Police.
