One-Day of Honor

IHRC Holds One-Day of Honor with Nigeria Police, Delta State Command.
As part of commitments of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) to protect the human rights of people around the world and promote the culture of peace among the nations, the necessity to partner and assist the government's security and intelligence agencies to investigate, expose human rights violations and hold abusers accountable cannot be overemphasized.
The role of the Police in maintaining peace and enforcing law and order in every society is becoming more demanding. The complexity has thus made them go through the rigorous experience in protecting lives and properties; we are also aware of the gross negligence they face coupled with the awful experience instead of appreciation for upholding their commitments to peace and security.
It is in this regard that the International Human Rights Commission headed by His Excellency Prof. Sir. h.c. Rafal Marcin Wasik has reached cognitive protocol to thank the Delta State Police Command under the watch of CP Ali Mohammed for the credible roles given in carrying out their call of duty.
The Nigeria Police Force Delta State Command under the watch of CP. Ari Muhammed Ali has continued to demonstrate unwavering commitments and exceptional guidelines which have helped in combating crimes in Delta State.
Bearing in mind that sustainable peace and stability across the State is enhanced by the cooperation of all Assistant Commissioner of Police representing the Commissioner of Police at their various Commands, IHRC would also honor the 8-Area Commands, OC Anti-Kidnapping, and the State PPRO.
International Human Rights Commission is a Transitional and Inter-governmental Organization founded on impartiality and independence to promote human rights activities in compliance with the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
The one-day event will be held on Tuesday 23rd November 2021 at the Delta State Police Command Headquarters in Asaba. Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) Officials across the State would also be attending.
